Minorities in Agriculture, National Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS)
The UGA Chapter of The National Society of Minorities in Agriculture, National Resources, and Related Sciences encourages the inclusion, achievement, and advancement of all people, especially minorities and females in the agricultural sciences. MANRRS offers professional development and networking opportunities, community service, and provides a local and national network of support for undergraduate, graduate, and professional members. Sigma Alpha
Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority. The objective is “to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them. Members strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, and to further the development of excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.”
Alpha Gamma Rho
Alpha Gamma Rho is a social fraternity that strives, “To make better men, and through them a broader and better agriculture by surrounding our members with influences tending to encourage individual endeavor, resourcefulness and aggressive effort along lines making for the development of better mental, social, moral, and physical qualities; to promote a wider acquaintance and a broader outlook on the part of agricultural men through fellowship in a national organization that stands for the best social, mental, and moral development.”
CAES Ambassadors
The purpose of the CAES Ambassadors program is, “to recruit potential students, to represent our College, and to develop relationships which foster growth and leadership.”
