Dr. Williams teaches and advises graduate students in agricultural leadership. She is the coordinator of the Master of Agricultural Leadership Program and is housed on the Griffin Campus.

 

Education:
PhD, 2007 Agricultural Education (Leadership) — Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma

MS, 2003 Agricultural Education (Leadership) — Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas

BS, 2001 Agricultural Leadership and Development — Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas

 

Research Interests:
Dr. William's research focus is on pedagogical methods of teaching leadership, including using popular media to teach collegiate leadership. She also has studied leadership in higher education and is interested in leadership development strategies and practices for young adult and adult leaders.

 

Current Activities:
Dr. Williams started working for the University of Georgia in the spring of 2008. Before coming to Georgia, Dr. Williams worked as an instructor and researcher associate at Oklahoma State University. Jennifer was an academic advisor and lecturer at Texas A&M University for three years. There she advised and taught agricultural leadership and development students. Dr. Williams is a member of the Association of Leadership Educators, the American Association for Agricultural Education, and the North American Association of Colleges and Teachers in Agriculture. Recently, she served as a guest editor for the Journal of Leadership Education. Jen teaches the following courses:
